Prométhée Earth Intelligence is the first French NewSpace operator of an Earth Observation satellite constellation, with the mission of democratizing the use of satellite imagery to build a safer and more sustainable world. Prométhée Earth Intelligence addresses key challenges in defense, security, crisis management, and sustainable development by providing strategic and environmental intelligence services. The scope of applications offered by Prométhée Earth Intelligence is virtually limitless — from maritime surveillance and monitoring of critical infrastructure to ecosystem preservation, water resource management, biodiversity protection, combating deforestation and illegal fishing, and disaster prevention. Founded in January 2020, Prométhée Earth Intelligence has received support from the French government, the Public Investment Bank (BPI), and the French National Centre for Space Studies (CNES) under the France Relance program. A member of the French Aerospace Industries Association (GIFAS), the company has established partnerships with over 50 French and European companies. Its first satellite, Protométhée, was successfully launched on November 11, 2023.
