To the southeast of the Greater Paris Metropolitan Area, in the territory of the Grand Paris Sud agglomeration, labeled as a "Territoire d’industrie" (Industrial Territory), the Public Development Authority (EPA) of Sénart is tasked with the development of the Sénart National Interest Operation (OIN). The Sénart OIN currently has 129,000 inhabitants, 9,000 businesses, and provides 46,200 jobs spread across 10 municipalities located in Seine-et-Marne and Essonne: 77 / Cesson, Combs-la-Ville, Lieusaint, Moissy-Cramayel, Nandy, Réau, Savigny-le-Temple, Vert-Saint-Denis 91 / Saint-Pierre-du-Perray, Tigery More than 800 jobs are created in the area each year. The EPA Sénart's mission is to contribute, initiate, implement, and support the development of the OIN territory. It actively participates in the production of housing in Île-de-France and in its economic attractiveness.
